“Haven”
By Roger ~ August 23rd, 2004. Filed under: Poetry.
Now lie your head down on my shoulder
Find that needed rest
Tell me of your troubles
Get them off your chest
Rest your hands in mine, together
We’ll pass away some time
I’ll speak of Ifs and Whethers
A haven you will find
My love will drown all sorrows away
Leaving you content
With this place and with me
And the time alone we’ve spent
Know that you can always seek me
And when you do you’ll see
I am eagerly awaiting
Your haven I will be

I think you are taking the wrong major! Did you ever think of an English major? You could do this for a living! (yes, people actually do get paid top do this!).

I can’t pump them out fast enough to market them. Maybe a collection someday…
