When people would throw parties they would say &quot;should we invite Gonzo and Alice?&quot;  After a while it was shortened to Gonz-alice, then, when adopted into the English, Gonzalas.  All the Gonzalases running around are decendants of Gonzo and his bride Alice.</description>
