Work Holiday

Due to lack of coverage in my department, I find myself, as the supervisor, picking up the open shifts. I’ll be working 8 hours on Saturday, 8 on Sunday and 12 on Monday. Have fun on your days off! I’ll be trying to stay sane or write something creative at work to keep myself from becoming a work-zombie this weekend.

I feel your pain. Being the manager, I end up having to cover the shifts that I don’t have people to cover.

I do get overtime. That’s just about the only good thing about having to work these 3 days.

There are times I wish I could get OT. Right now, I can’t. So I try to do contract work on the side… but not much of that around right now.

Yes, but I’ll be here working tomorrow 11:30 to 8 instead of at church.
