Something’s Just Not Right
By Roger ~ February 4th, 2006. Filed under: Nobody Asks Me First.
I was outside today on this brisk Saturday taking my Christmas lights down and raking my lawn.
In February.
Now I’m no expert on weather or global warming. I didn’t check the Farmer’s Almanac or consult tea leaves. One thing I know, however, is that my lawn is not supposed to be visible in February.
Something is wrong with this picture.

Seriously. We were in Newport today - and it felt like Spring. No one had jackets on. So strange.
(but nice on the heating bill)
(but equally not nice on the driving factor - more ice, less snow)

Centimeters? Are you sure you’re not in Canada? Speak American lingo, lady!
Seriously, Hannah, I don’t ever remember it like this before.

Oh well. “Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn.”
Carry on.

I think that you just are whining because you have to do yard work “ahead” of what you would expect it be scheduled. Though I do not like this warmer weather either, it is hard on a caveman. . . the gods must be angry with us!!!!
