Second Shift House Husband

By Roger ~ April 25th, 2006. Filed under: Ramblings.

My nights have become a blur of preparing supper, cleaning up the house, reading a bit, maybe scanning a blog or two, and helping my wife with her homework if she needs it. It is natural for me to be helpful…to a point. It’s not natural for me to be giving all my free time toward exploits I don’t particularly enjoy at this point in time. Sure, I still spend a significant amount of time with my face in a book, but there are so many other things I’d like to be doing. Like most everyone else, I’ve probably spread myself too thin over many different projects/interests.

Thankfully my life at this point is helping me to prioritize what is important. Therefore, when I get home tonight, I’ll jump right into making dinner and helping my wife with her homework. May God make a better man of me through this.

May God make a better man of me through this.

Blessings on you for this attitude. Keep it and you will go far. :-)

And if God doesn’t maybe he’ll make a better woman of you. :)

Scoob, I think we should make a eunuch out of you.
