Birthday Festivities

Tomorrow is my wife’s birthday. She’s also in the midst of a May term at college. This makes for a difficult celebration. In the morning I’ll cry “Happy Birthday! Let’s study Microbiology!” Somehow I don’t think she’ll be impressed.
We’ll go to her dad’s, where it will be raining, and decide if we want a soggy cookout or if we want to go out to eat. This means we’ll end up at Olive Garden. At least this will save her from having to kiss the moose like she did two years ago at her surprise party.
Later in the day we have a church service, and then we have to go to our second job for a couple of hours.
Poor girl. I’ll have to start planning now to make next year all the better (though it really shouldn’t take much).
Later.

Yeah… but at least she hasn’t stopped having birthdays yet (like her husband)
