Last Day of June

Bye-bye, June. We’ll miss you. Sure, you were full of rain, but there were some sunny days here and there. Yes, I had to work during most of them, but them’s the breaks (as they say). Hey, have you ever thought about saving the sunny days for the weekends? Just an idea.
Are you familiar with July at all? It’s coming up next and I just didn’t want to be caught unprepared. Is July wet and soggy, too? Or, is it warm and sunny? I heard the two of you usually travel side-by-side, that’s the only reason I ask. We’re hoping for a month that will shine down upon us with warm, bright love. Talk to July for us, if you would. I know I’d appreciate it.
So…will you call…write…anything while you’re gone? No. I guess that’s to be expected. We pretty much just tolerated each other while you were around this year. We’ll see if next year will be any better. Hopefully we both will have matured a little and we’ll be able to move on with our relationship. Here’s an awkward hug between not-quite friends to make you glad you’re leaving at midnight tonight.
