The higher the MP of a camera the more croping and zooming can be done with a phote with out losing resolution. We too discovered this when we upgraded from a 4.1 to a 6.1. We also went from HP to Kodak brand cameras. We've noticed a huge difference in the quality of the photos we have taken and our ability to do close potraits or croping. So I guess what I am trying to say is that your camera is a weak and pitiful thing.
