Learning Curve

Why do mature adults, who have lived in a location for longer than a week, put their trash bags outside on the night before trash pickup? Invariably there is trash strewn about their property the next morning from some birds or nocturnal mammal(s).
Still waiting for some people to get a clue…

that was me. Some people put out luminaries around the neighborhood…I put out trash.

I have personal solution to this issue. I play poker with some friends on the night before trash day. I usually don’t get home until late night/early morning so I then put out my trash at that time.
On another note. Putting one’s trash out at night while attracting various dirty denizens gives the owner of said trash the opportunity to have target practice with a variety of small arms (no fire-arms intown of course). It is only illegal to bait deer after all.

I leave for work before the sanitary engineers arrive, so I just bring it out then. I don’t end up with trash all over my yard, either.
