Now, we may have taken some artistic liberty leaving out the seasonal reference, but the rhyme scheme remains uncompromised. If it was, we couldn’t fondly call it Haiku. Enjoy!

Roger lives in Maine
he wears a bear suit outside
that’s because it’s cold

Ties, Bankers and Shrinks, Oh, My!

I despise neck ties
Choking, constricting my neck
They should all be burned. –Roger

I never wear them
that is, unless someone dies
That’s why I hate death –Brian

Death comes horribly
Not riding a pale-ish horse
But wearing a tie. –Roger

Death knows how to kill
Choking with formality
How I loathe the tie –Brian

The tie is the bane
That brings sane men together
Solidarity! –Roger

certain men like ties
they work in places like banks
they think they’re so cool –Brian

We should donate ours
To bankers in poverty
Great is our reward –Roger

I am not so sure
Bankers are a fickle sort
they may turn on us –Brian

Bankers don’t scare me
Wimpy little tie wearers
But don’t corner them –Roger

fight or flight kicks in
they flail their arms like children
except they have cash –Brian

Pity for the shrinks
Bankers are way too stingy
To lay on the couch –Roger

dont get me started
shrinks are a bunch of psychos
messing with your head –Brian

They “practice” their trade
On many gullible blokes
Questionable help –Roger

you won’t find me there
paying to lie on a couch
I’ve got one at home –Brian

My couch is comfy
I would fall asleep quickly
That is worth money –Roger
