History of Qwert Yuppy
Qwert Yuppy is NOT some guy who is lazy and just made his name from the top alphabetical row of the keyboard!
Qwert Yuppy is NOT “a young college-educated adult who is employed in a well-paying profession and who lives and works in or near a large city” (be that your personal definition of “Yuppie” or not).
The birth of Qwert Yuppy:
When my cousin David and I were smashing young men, we found a typewriter in our grandparent’s spare bedroom. Being young and imaginative, we sat down and started a “newspaper.”
We shared every job, each working every position, one person drawing or hand-writing articles while the other typed. Qwert, however, was David’s brainchild. Qwert was the first star: the first name used in a headline.
Our paper was called “Monkey News,” so naturally Qwert was a monkey. The rest is history and, until now, lived on only in my brain (David has probably moved on to more mature things. Then again, probably not).
I’ll attempt to share some of what we created with you here. I’ll also attempt to create some new, interesting (hopefully humorous) stuff. But not alone. I’ll be sharing this website with Qwert.
No, I do not have Multiple Personality Disorder. Just a huge imagination.

Roger,
You have done well in explaining what Yuppy is NOT…and also the origins of the name Qwert–but
where did the “Yuppy” part actually come from?

From David. How else can one explain such “Davidian” things?

You know why the second item is not true?
Cause Roger is not well paid…
The rest are accurate.

The first one’s not accurate, either. I don’t think….David made up the name so you’d have to ask him.
