Painting

I certainly didn’t get much painted on my miniature last night. I only painted the robe and the shield of this cleric. The color is midnight blue. Also, the pictures I’m trying to take of it and my progress aren’t coming out very well. Here’s what I have so far; I’d love hints for how to take a good picture of it:

What do you have for a digital camera? Depending on the MP a close up picture won’t look too hot. We have a 6.1MP that is very good.

Uhhh, 3.2 MP.
I tried various picture taking methods. I tried futher away, both with and without the flash, using lighting without the flash, and closer up with and without the flash. I don’t know what the deal is.

The deal is that your camera has too weak of a MP for close up pictures (such as those of miniatures) to not be blury. The higher the MP of a camera the more croping and zooming can be done with a phote with out losing resolution. We too discovered this when we upgraded from a 4.1 to a 6.1. We also went from HP to Kodak brand cameras. We’ve noticed a huge difference in the quality of the photos we have taken and our ability to do close potraits or croping. So I guess what I am trying to say is that your camera is a weak and pitiful thing. Enjoy.
