Scoob, Do public speakers actually use those terms, as opposed to just people conversing back and forth?
I’m also thinking the word ‘thing’ is just vague enough that it should be left out as well.

Oh, didn’t realize we where referring strictly to public speakers, though many celebrities use such slang. Hearing such terms spoken on a daily basis makes me want to slap the hell out the people using it.
