Right of Way

When you have the right of way, use it. It’s very nice of you to stop and let someone else go first. It’s very gentlemanly and all that. However, there is a reason right-of-way rules are in place. This is to keep traffic flowing as smoothly as possible. These rules, I naively assume, have come about through years of traffic flow observation. The regulators tried different systems. They surely sat down and played SimCity for days to see where to place stop signs and subway depots.

Thanks for being kind and all, but you’re holding up traffic. That’s not a smart thing to do in this day and age. Drive defensively, give people the benefit of the doubt, but please follow right-of-way rules.

I find that I get frustrated as it seems that many don’t understand the rules of “right of way” and the waiting dance carries out and then when you decide that the other person who had the right of way is a moron and start to go then they go. Did I mention that I hate people?

You have alluded to many types of people in the past, but you have not mentioned hating all people heretofore.
