Continuing the Book List

I’ve read two books from the mysterious Book List, Sense & Sensibility and The Three Musketeers. Unfortunately, the next, oh…seven, books in my pile are not on the list (I have a little Crichton library). So, Chris will continue his romp over my paltry achievements.

Way to go, Chris!

While I read a lot of books, I haven’t made a lot of progress on The List. By my count I’ve knocked off three since last we discussed it: The Great Gatsby, The Time Traveler’s Wife, and Atonement. And my reviews are mixed; one excellent (Time Traveler), one very good (Gatsby) and one Meh (Atonement).

My list has suffered as of late – I started a 600-page history of the Korean War but got bogged down about 200 pages in and gave up. I’m now on to some lighter sci-fi fare. Next I’ll have to go back to The List.

Cool. Maybe I’ll grab The Time Traveler’s Wife for something to read between Crichton novels.

  4. I’m still in progress for some on the list. My latest readings haven’t been on the list. I just finished Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Interesting read.

Still working on Pride and Prejudice. The rest of my books have been more professionally oriented (techie books).

I’ve read Frankenstein. Too bad it’s not on the list.

You could always read Dracula, though. 😈
